Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation Completed work In 2022, on the basis of the Gayvoronsky branch of the Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution “Secondary School No. 8” in the village of Spasskoye, Spassky municipal district of the Primorsky Territory, the school forestry “Prirodolyuby” was formed.  In 2022, 15 schoolchildren took part in the “Garden of Memory” event.
In honour of the Great Victory in Russia from 18 March 2022 to 22 June 2022 the International Action "Garden of Memory" takes place, the aim of which is to plant 27 million trees in memory of the 27 million people who died during the Great Patriotic War. Each tree is a symbol of memory and gratitude of peaceful generations.
The Garden of Memory is an international action.  In 2022, teams of educational organisations consisting of the Heirs of Victory (groups of students), Military Support (teachers), Frontline Correspondents (students covering the events of the Action in social networks) and Home Front Workers (parent community) will take part in the Action.
The action is held with the aim of forming in the younger generation the historical memory of the victory of the peoples of Russia, who defended the world in the Great Patriotic War in the face of Nazism and violence.
This year, the teams will be offered the following activities (to choose from) for the Campaign: All-Russian Victory Lesson, planting new Memory Gardens, creating a composition of flowering plants, crop care activities, conducting excursions for parents and graduates of educational organisations to Memory Gardens, creating botanical corners named after Heroes of the Great Patriotic War, and holding a flash mob "Find a Memory Garden in your city".

For the first time, the winners of regional/all-Russian stages of the All-Russian Olympiad of schoolchildren in history and ecology will act as Messengers of the Action.
Messengers of the Action will have a very important role - they will be able to popularise the Action among their peers, cover the events of the Action in social networks, hold meetings and live broadcasts for their peers in order to generate interest in the events of the Great Patriotic War and the Action events, hold the All-Russian Victory Lesson and speak at the central event of the Action in the region of presence.
Summing up the results of the Action will take place within the framework of the All-Russian Ecological Festival of Children and Youth "To Live on Earth!", which will be held in November 2022 in the region of presence.
