Administration of Chernigov municipal district Completed work In 2023, took part in an interesting project "Primorye Ski Track" to develop Ski Sport in the Chernigov district of Primorsky Krai. In December, will be launched the annual regional action for fans of ski sport. The 3rd season of the project "Primorye Ski Track - Register and Win" will cover almost all cities and districts of the region.
"The project has been implemented on the initiative of the Governor of Primorsky Krai since 2020. Thanks to the equipment of ski tracks and the creation of free sports equipment rental points, the number of people involved in skiing has increased significantly in 3 years".
Primorsky residents of 4 age groups can become contenders for valuable prizes. Participants of 6-15, 16-29 and 30-59 years old will have to register at least 6 training sessions on the track using a special QR code, indicating their tel. number, gender, age group and occupation. Skiers 60 years and older will need to make at least 3 training runs in 1 month. The more ski runs a participant will make, the higher the chances of winning. The Primorye Ski Track - Register and Win campaign is organised in Primorye as part of the regional project "Sport is a norm of life" of the national project "Demography" initiated by President Vladimir Putin.
It also became known that Eastern and Western ski conferences will be established in Primorsky Krai. Arsenyev, Kalinovka village of Spassky district, and Dmitriyevka village of Chernigov district will become the centres for Far Eastern and regional competitions in ski sports. The head of the region emphasised that every year more and more people in Primorsky Krai are involved in ski sports. "The main task is to make skiing mass and accessible, to form a sporting spirit among the residents of the region. We are actively engaged in the construction of ski tracks, purchase of equipment, machinery that allows us to make the tracks more comfortable.  

He also noted that the Eastern and Western conferences will be created for the development of skiing in the region. Arsenyev, Kalinovka and Dmitrievka villages were identified as points of concentration for training of sports reserve, holding competitions of the regional and Far East level.
"Arsenyev will become the centre of skiing development. The Belaya Gora ski base will be built here, a decision has already been made to provide the investor with a favourable loan, the project should harmonise with the current conditions. And also Kalinovka village of Spassky district, which will train professional athletes at the ski base. The base in the village of Dmitrievke, Chernigov district, where there is a wonderful track for classical walking, is also popular with the population".
Popularisation of mass sports is one of the objectives of the regional project "Sport as a norm of life" of the national project "Demography" approved by the President of the country. The region has significant achievements in this work: in 2022, Primorye was officially recognised as the best region in the Russian Federation in terms of sports infrastructure development. The region received the award as part of the National Sports Award.
