In 2018, the company began implementing a large-scale project to build a timber processing plant with an area of ​​19 hectares in the Spassk-Dalniy urban district of the Primorsky Territory of the Far Eastern Federal District. The investment amount is about 1 billion rubles. Completion of the project and reaching full capacity is planned for 2027.

In 2019, ForestGrand LLC plans to launch a timber processing and logistics complex. Investments in the project will amount to 40 million rubles.

The volume of timber harvesting and removal of round timber is 300 thousand m3 of wood per year on an area of ​​forest plots within the forest fund of 500 thousand hectares. The species composition of the forest resource base is very diverse and unique from the Far Eastern tree species: Ayan spruce, fir, white, black, yellow birch, valley elm (Japanese), Mongolian oak, Manchurian ash, Daurian larch, aspen and others. The company carries out deep processing of wood, that is, all harvested wood is processed, waste-free production. The company is implementing a sustainable development strategy.

Wood sawing is planned to be carried out at the initial stage on 11 sawmill lines of Chinese and Italian production. The productivity of 10 lines is 200 m3 of logs per shift, the 11th line saws 50 m3 of logs per shift.

It is planned to equip and install drying shops of the enterprise consisting of 24 chambers, each with a volume of 120 m3 of unit load.

In 2022, it is planned to increase production capacity, install an additional Artiglio sawmill line with a capacity of 200 m3 of logs per shift and install an additional lumber drying section with 24 drying chambers, and launch a line for the production of peeled veneer from hard and soft wood.For waste disposal, it is planned to build a pellet workshop for the production of granules and pellets.

Pellets are a granular type of solid fuel, cylindrical in shape, made from compressed waste from the woodworking industry. The main materials for the production of fuel pellets are: sawdust, wood chips, bark, slabs of coniferous and deciduous (the best option) wood species.

As a result of the implementation of the investment project, the number of employees of ForestGrand LLC is planned to increase to 500 people.

In 2022, it is planned to begin supplying products from the ForestGrand LLC plant by rail in its own covered cars. For this purpose, it is planned to purchase 30 cars from the United Wagon Company Research and Production Company with a loading volume of up to 175 m3. In the future, it is planned to update and expand the rolling stock.

In February 2022, ForestGrand LLC plans to launch the production of hardwood veneer. The planned production volume is 20 thousand m3 per year.
